We are delighted to introduce the debut album of the trio Petra Vlková & Sonic Playground, featuring vocalist Petra Vlková, guitarist Libor Šmoldas, and pianist Mikuláš Pokorný. The album, distributed by Supraphon, offers a fresh perspective on the jazz trio—without bass or drums, yet with a maximum focus on sensitive mutual communication and interaction among the three musical elements.

Under the dramaturgical direction of Mikuláš Pokorný, the trio leans towards more sophisticated and lesser-known compositions. Well-known melodies, on the other hand, surprise with unexpected interpretations and moments that always honor the original character of the songs.
