Popular swing music is beloved for a reason—its timeless melodies and lyrics are a delight for both the ears and the heart. It has a unique way of lifting spirits and, with its swinging rhythm, inspiring a desire to dance. Many of these songs were originally part of films or musicals, often serving as dialogue between the main characters. These iconic songs form the foundation of the Famous Swing Melodies project, in which I collaborate with the exceptional musician, pianist, and vocalist Jakub Zomer.

At our concerts, we perform American and local swing hits in English and Czech—some upbeat, others more serene, humorous, playful, or deeply sentimental. We’ve chosen only the greatest classics, including Fly Me to the Moon, Something Stupid, Fever, Blueberry Hill, Klobouk ve křoví, New York, New York, Marnivá sestřenice, and many more.

The Famous Swing Melodies project shines brightest in its full lineup with a rhythm section (vocals, piano, double bass, and drums). However, its timeless charm also works beautifully in more intimate arrangements.
